How to publish content with the cacaoTV Publishing Service
- First you will need your media files file. Any media format can be used for video files, however, certain players will only work with AVI, MPG or MP4 containers (we will support more containers format later on). Any codec can be used. You can use MPG with MPEG2 codec to broadcast media to people that don't have any codec or specific media player on their computer. However, when a channel uses exclusively the H.264 at a rate of 1MBps or more, the channel receives the label "High Quality".
- You need an internet connection... or more than one! Actually, if your connection upstream bandwidth is lower than your media content bitrate, you need to run the broadcaster with an additional connection simultaneously. Bandwidth of both locations will be joined to broadcast your content. You can use this trick with an undefinite number of connection to reach the needed bandwidth.
- Finally, download and run the cacaTOèS interface to cacaoTV and follow the instructions. Your channel should be ready in a minute!
